GaReZz was cool enough to fork off the Sentry Project and create a program called T@t00.
It is a bruteforcer which operates much like Sentry but with some differences. Documentation and other important info is included in the packages. Check it out:

I got a chance to upload the current Beta of Sentry 2.1. I don't know when I'll have time to further work on it or if I plan on working on it anymore. Time will decide.

Since I have not had enough time to devote to Sentry 2.1, I will be releasing Sentry 2.0+ which will contain the fixes I have already done for 2.1. Since I have limited time now, I will be working on bug fixes only until things clear up.

Some good news and some bad news. The good news is that it is almost April 1, which means
my entry to the deny.de coding challenge is almost due. So to you guys, that means a new program will be released. It is a sister program to APL, but much more
versatile.
And now the bad news... Sentry 2 is being delayed until April. I am currently in the middle of moving and have had very little time to work on
it during this month. By the time I move into my new apartment, it will be the end of March and I don't want to release an unstable product. It is 99% complete, just
needs some more testing which just takes time.

Sentry 2 Update: The basic auth engine is stable and many new features are being added that were not in 1.x.
The form engine is undergoing beta testing and once it becomes stable, Sentry 2 will enter final beta stages. It is expected to be released sometime in March. Thanks for being
patient.

For those wondering, the basic auth engine for Sentry 2 is completed and just needs to be hooked up to the GUI. This means, all that is left to do is test the Engine and code the Form Engine and then Beta phases will begin. :)

If you have installed SP2, then you will not be allowed to have more than 10 TIME_WAIT connections. This will effect your proxy analyzing.

There is nothing on my site that is protected that is worth any interest. And even if there were, you would not be able to get it via a lame directory bruteforce. Please don't waste deny.de's bandwidth. Thank you.

Some people, all of the sudden, are having problems testing proxies. They always get
a timeout. If you are one of them, it is a problem with Spyware that has been removed
from your PC by a Spyware Killer. Odds are it broke your TCP drivers. If you are using

For those of you who are wondering when the next Sentry release will be:
The next release of will be version 2.0. It is completely rewritten to incorporate many optimizations and memory management techniques that I have learned in the past year. It will be much more customizable and far superior to version 1.4.
If I had to guess, expect it to be released near the end of 2004.
